Debut in the berliner philharmonie

Jazzical Class gave their debut in the Berliner Philharmonie on April 25, 2017 to a full house of 1,400. The engaging concert, with two two musicians performing on a dozen instruments, included body percussion and vocals. The duo has been working together since 2014, and performs regularly throughout Germany. For more information, click here.

„Martin Stadtfeld“ prize and CD with Violetta Khachikyan

„Flügelspiel mit Schwarzholzklang“ Released in 2015. The CD was recorded live in November 5th, 2015 in concert hall of studio „Tonmeister“ in Mainz. Works of Schumann, Weber, Poulenc, Françaix, Rosenblatt and Pierné, in collaboration with Freunde Junger Musiker Mainz - Wiesbaden. This organization awards a special prize to one finalist of the Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy Hochschulwettbewerb, which includes a concert tour. This tour took place in 2015-2016, and was a wonderful opportunity to perform in eight German cities including Köln, Berlin, Kassel, Wiesbaden, Frankfurt, Mainz, München and Bremen.

CD with Violetta Khachikyan

This CD was recorded in 2015 at the Universität der Künste, Berlin, as a part of the Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy Hochschulwettbewerb prize. Works of Bassi, Debussy, Stravinsky and Milhaud.

Prize, Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy Hochschulwettbewerb

Žilvinas was awarded the 1st prize in the 2015 Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy Hochschulwettbewerb. A competition in 3 rounds, Žilvinas was one of two representatives of his conservatory, the Musikhochschule Lübeck. He enjoyed performing in the final round with the Orchesterzentrum|NRW symphony orchestra, conducted by Garry Walker.
